Presenting the new Semanux SDK at the Hannover Messe
This year, Florian was invited as a special guest of the Baden-Württemberg State Evening to present our new, revised Software Development Kit (SDK) with multi-camera tracking.
The new Semanux SDK can now capture your face with multiple cameras simultaneously. From their image data, the cameras automatically compute their own position as well as the distances to the other cameras. This makes it possible to cover a significantly larger range of head positions – a particular advantage in multi-monitor setups. Thanks to optimized computation, the requirements for processing power and memory remain low, allowing efficient execution on edge devices. After this premiere, the new Semanux SDK will soon also make its way into the video conferencing software alfaview, enabling more and improved AI features.
The Baden-Württemberg State Evening is organized every year by the investment agency "bw international" at the Hannover Messe. For the state – traditionally strong in mechanical engineering and manufacturing technology – the Hannover Messe is a must-attend event. Everything is held under the motto: THE LÄND – a modern and catchy slogan that demonstrates the international and forward-looking ambition of Baden-Württemberg's industry.

Host Kimsy von Reischach guided through the varied evening: welcoming words came not only from the managing director of bw international, Gunnar Mey, but also from Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Baden-Württemberg's Minister of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism. The focus of the evening, however, was this year's partner country of the Hannover Messe: Brazil. Dr. Luiz Césio Caetano, President of the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro (FIRJAN), presented the many opportunities the Brazilian economy offers as a sales market and production location for the German mechanical engineering industry. The evening was accompanied by live Brazilian music from the group terrabrasil.
