In Semanux Access 1.3, we offer the on-screen texts in 11 languages instead of two, including a matching virtual keyboard with word and emoji suggestions. We have also significantly revised the pause function with your feedback.

What is new in Semanux Access 1.3?

Recently, our news has been dominated by nominations, public relations work and our participation in an accelerator. Nevertheless, we are of course not neglecting our core product Semanux Access and are pleased to report the new features of version 1.3:

We are pleased about the many requests for Semanux Access from several European countries. Until now, our software only offered a choice between German, for Germany and Austria, and English. But many people in Europe speak and live with other languages, and operating the computer in a foreign language is difficult for all of us. Therefore, in version 1.3 we have now translated all screen texts on buttons, in the setup and in the settings into the following languages:

  • 🇫🇷 French (France)
  • 🇮🇹 Italian (Italy)
  • 🇪🇸 Spanish (Spain)
  • 🇳🇱 Dutch (Netherlands)
  • 🇵🇹 Portuguese (Portugal)
  • 🇳🇴 Norwegian (Norway)
  • 🇵🇱 Polish (Poland)
  • 🇩🇰 Danish (Denmark)
  • 🇭🇷 Croatian (Croatia)

In addition to the pure translation of screen content, we have also expanded our virtual keyboard. The virtual keyboard has a customized key layout for each of the 9 new languages, specific keys for accents and even word suggestions and emojis. So you can start chatting with your friends in your own language or even learn a new language.

Pausing allows you to watch a movie in peace or simply take a break yourself. In version 1.1 of Semanux Access we have already introduced a pause button. Now we are also improving the direct pause toggle with an audible progress indicator and we are making "waiting" for the pause - whether you hold down a button or close your eyes - now optional. Now you can toggle the pause directly if you want.

Furthermore, we have improved the filtering of the head direction, fonts should no longer reload and there are other small improvements to the experience. And a small preview at the end: The macOS of Semanux Access will probably be released before the end of the year!

The update to Semanux Access version 1.3 is available via the automatic update function of Semanux Access or directly here on the website as download.
