Hotfix for the latest Windows update
Semanux Access version 1.5.4 is now working again under Windows 10 and Windows 11 with the latest updates.
According to media reports, the latest Windows updates have caused numerous problems that Microsoft has not yet fully resolved. Among others, PCGamesHardware, WindowsLatest.com, and Heise.de report numerous difficulties.
With the Windows updates of February 11, 2025, Semanux Access was also affected - especially the version with administrative rights. For some of you, Semanux Access no longer started after the Windows update "Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 (KB5051974)" or "Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 (KB5051987)".
We have been working intensively on a solution and are now providing you with Semanux Access 1.5.4, an update that fixes the problem. To ensure that Semanux Access works properly after the Windows update, please first install the update for Semanux Access and then the Windows update. If your Semanux Access no longer starts, you can also manually download and reinstall.
The latest Windows update may still cause problems with the sound and microphone. We are already working on a solution and hope that we will be able to fix the problem with the next version of Semanux Access. Alternatively, another Windows update from Microsoft itself could also provide a remedy.
