First place in 4C Check-up for Semanux
Lukas took first place in the 4C Check-up competition yesterday with his presentation of Semanux.
Yesterday, on March 13, the Medical Innovations Incubator hosted the 4C Check-up. The 4C Check-up focuses on business ideas from the field of medical life sciences, which are evaluated by a top-class jury:
- Ingo Hämmerle, MII (CEO) & Fysor GmbH (Co-Founder)
- Prof. Massimo Kubon, Hochschule Furtwangen (Stellv. Studiendekan Medizintechnik)
- Annika Sunnanväder, LS medcap GmbH (Co-CEO)
- Dr. Timo Weiland, novineon CRO GmbH (Director Research & Development)
The competition focuses on the industry-typical components “Commercialization”, “Certification”, “Clinical Studies” and “Copyright”. Lukas was able to convince the jury, as Semanux was awarded first place among the nine participating startups!

The 4C Check-up is also the qualifying round for the Start-up BW Elevator Pitch competition in Baden-Württemberg. As the first-place winner, we have now been given the unique opportunity to present Semanux at the upcoming Start-up BW Elevator Pitch.
