What is new in Semanux Access 1.5?
In Semanux Access 1.5, we have made it even easier to try out Semanux Access with the Free Edition.
In addition to the free edition, Semanux Access 1.5 comes with many other new features. You can now trigger a key press on the keyboard for instance with a facial expression and we have integrated the Swedish language into Semanux Access.
You have been able to test Semanux Access in the Flex edition for two weeks with all its functions for some time now. All you need is a free Semanux Account and Semanux Access on your computer. With Semanux Access 1.5, we are also making Semanux Access Free available! This allows you to try out Semanux Access even without a Semanux Account. In the Free edition, all our input methods and their combinations are available to you, but interaction is limited to the tutorial game. This allows you to try out the Semanux Access experience on your own computer without a Semanux Account! If you want to test your Semanux Access experience with other programs on your computer, you can still use the two-week Semanux Access Flex trial period with a Semanux Account.
We have received requests from you to be able to trigger key presses directly with facial expressions and other events. With Semanux Access 1.5, we are therefore introducing the "key press". Simply select an event and the key that should be pressed with this event! This function is particularly suitable for interaction with communication programs such as Grid 3 or MindExpress. You can find the new function in the settings under "Interaction", "Key Press".
With Semanux Access 1.5, we also welcome Swedish-speaking users with translated screen texts, a virtual keyboard with special characters for Swedish texts and intelligent word suggestions in Swedish. Semanux Access now supports 13 languages!

In addition to the major announcements, many other improvements have also made it into the new version. We have revised the tutorial game and introduced a points list. From now on you can compete with your friends in the tutorial game! We have also improved the setup of the eyeV Skyle eye tracker, embedded our video tutorials from YouTube into the setup and tutorial game and of course fixed some minor issues you have reported to us.
