Humming
You can set and configure humming noises as an input device for Semanux Access.
You can find the settings for humming noises under Type of Settings: All > Input > Humming Noises.
You have set up and activated the microphone as described under Microphone.
You have checked the box for Enable detection of humming noises.
The hum control works similarly to voice control but relies on non-verbal sounds. These are Hmmmmm (a continuous hum), Psst (low, calling for silence), Psst (high, calling for attention), Mhm (indicating agreement), and Härm or Ähem (both clearing the throat). If the detected sound does not match any known sound, Unknown is displayed. If no sound is detected, Silence is displayed.
You can adjust the frequency at which humming noises are detected. A medium value of 4 Hz corresponds to 4 detections per second and allows for a smooth user experience.
You can use the hum control as an input option, for example, to start and stop precision mode, trigger clicks, scroll, or switch the pause.
