Scrolling

Scrolling up and down at a specific spot on the screen allows for movement through webpages, chat windows, or PDF documents.

You can find the scrolling settings under Type of Settings: All > Interaction > Scrolling.

Scrolling settings window

You can activate scrolling in several ways:

  1. Through a self-defined event. To do this, click on the drop-down menu under Input to Start Scrolling and select an event to start scrolling. Also, select an event in the drop-down menu under Input to Stop Scrolling to end scrolling.
  2. Through the panel.

The scrolling speed can be adjusted with the Scrolling Speed option. Select an appropriate value, with 500px/s being the default value.

Additionally, you can influence the speed while scrolling. If you move the trail further from the trigger point, scrolling will speed up to the previously set maximum speed. If you move the trail closer to the trigger point, scrolling will slow down. The distance from the trigger point is indicated by a connecting line.

Instead of the trail, you can also activate a separate input for scrolling using Use Relative Input Instead of Trail for Scrolling. The relative inputs as known from Express Mode and Precision Mode are available as options.

Frequent questions

At the moment, Semanux Access only supports vertical scrolling, i.e. scrolling up or down.

If you want to scroll horizontally, i.e. to the left or right, you can do this by clicking or drag-and-drop on the scroll bars.
